Job Title: Construction Surveyor Manager
Role Purpose:
Transinvest Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced Construction Surveyor Manager to lead the financial, contractual, and commercial management of road, civil engineering, and building projects, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of roadworks, civil engineering, and building construction.
- Monitor execution programmes and track monthly project progress (proficient use of Microsoft Project).
- Ensure accuracy and relevance of turnover figures and final accounts reported by the CS team (revenue, expenses, provisions, stock, variations, price revisions, etc.).
- Supervise subcontractor evaluation, certification, and invoicing (direct and nominated subcontractors).
- Follow up on cash collection and payment status.
- Perform project budget control, analyse and justify variances or deviations, and implement corrective and optimisation actions with the CTX.
- Participate in counter-studies and project financial forecasting through to final outcome.
- Apply contractual knowledge, including FIDIC and PPO Conditions of Contract.
- Manage contractual claims and disputes and support the Contract Management team.
- Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities with CTX teams.
- Oversee insurance policies and bank guarantees (implementation, renewal, follow-up).
- Validate purchasing specifications for the Procurement Department.
- Support CTX in the management of joint ventures.
- Prepare monthly reports for Heads of Centres.

Qualifications & Experience
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in construction surveying.
- RICS accreditation and/or registration with the Council of Quantity Surveyors in Mauritius would be a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in cost control, contract administration, and project financial management within construction environments.
Job Title: Construction Surveyor

Transinvest Construction Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Surveyor to support the financial, contractual, and operational monitoring of road, civil engineering, and building projects, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with contractual requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that monthly reporting of works carried out on site is true, accurate, and properly documented.
- Perform site measurements, record variations, materials on site, and prepare applications for payment.
- Conduct joint measurements with the Engineer’s representative.
- Monitor project budget control and advise the Site Manager when costs exceed forecast, proposing corrective actions.
- Verify subcontractors’ claims, confirm site attendance, and assess the accuracy of measured quantities.
- Track site progress against the programme (Microsoft Project) and advise on delays and contractual implications.
- Assist the Site Manager during meetings with Engineers, Clients, and Consultants.
- Maintain awareness of contractual conditions (FIDIC and PPO Conditions of Contract) and prepare basic contractual correspondence.
- Liaise with the Contract Management team on contractual and legal matters.
- Prepare the Monthly Site Report.
- Establish and renew project insurance policies and guarantees.
- Monitor project cash flow.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
