Job Title: Leading Hand
Main Mission:
The Leading Hand is responsible for managing and leading teams of workers and skilled workers on the construction site, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality of work. They coordinate daily activities and ensure that the work is carried out according to technical and environmental standards. The Leading Hand acts as the intermediary between the Site Supervisor and the rest of the team, ensuring smooth communication and effective task execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies.
Site Safety:
The Leading Hand will adhere and implement the safety protocols for all the team members. Provide training and raise awareness among the teams about risks and prevention measures.
Team Leadership and Management:
The Leading Hand is the liaison between the Site Supervisor and the teams, ensuring that instructions are clearly communicated and followed.
Technical Expertise:
Be a skilled worker with deep knowledge of construction techniques, capable of providing practical solutions to challenges on site. The Leading Hand should possess the technical expertise necessary to handle any issues that may arise on the construction site.
Environmental Awareness:
To promote environmentally friendly practices in the daily operations on site.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with the management and other teams. Provide relevant feedback and suggest improvements where necessary.
