Job Title: Senior Site Manager
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Operation Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction sites, including legal, administrative and financial/gestion management, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
- Provide support to team in managing relationships with the different stakeholder.
- Validate the project baseline (“Budget point zéro”) and monitor its progress.
- Supervise, motivate, and train teams in order to optimize organisation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
- Act as a source of proposals, offering alternatives and variations as needed.
- Guarantee the quality of the works delivered.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a project as the primary point of responsibility, either in road or building construction.
- Experience managing the design phase with internal and external teams.
- Strong experience in client-facing roles and managing client relationships.
- Extensive experience in financial and contractual management within projects.
- Solid technical and geotechnical knowledge in the construction field..
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, specialising in building construction.
- Several years of proven experience in the construction field are highly recommended.
Scope of Responsibility:
- Technical – Budgetary – Managerial – Contractual – Legal.
Legal and Commercial Knowledge:
- General legal knowledge, including criminal risk, public procurement codes (dispute management, subcontracting markets), and labour legislation.
- Strong commercial skills, including client relations and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Management Expertise:
- Experience in managing claims and disputes (FIDIC, NFP, market codes, contract law, labour codes).
- Financial and human resource management skills.
Job Title: Site Manager
Job description:
- Plan daily activities and follow the programme of works.
- Coordinate trades: masonry, formwork, reinforcement, blockwork, finishing.
- Ensure works follow drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Lead and supervise teams and subcontractors.
- Enforce all health & safety rules.
- Control materials, labour productivity and site costs.
- Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on building sites (gros œuvre + finitions).
Job Title: Assistant Site Manager
Job description:
- Assist with daily supervision of site activities.
- Check compliance with drawings and finishing standards.
- Monitor progress and update daily site reports.
- Assistant in the process of buying materials.
- Control materials on site and follow stock levels.
- Ensure safety and housekeeping.
- Coordinate workers and small teams.
Candidate profile:
- Strong interpersonal skills with assertive business etiquette
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Completely fluent in French and English, both at verbal and written level
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Ms Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Organised, meticulous and composed, even under pressure.
- Proactive attitude, prone to participating actively as a Team Member in various tasks as and when required.
- Minimum HSC Level (or equivalent), with 3 years of experience as a Receptionist.
Normal Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08h00 to 17h00
Occasionally working outside normal hours for company events and/or projects
Remuneration and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered an attractive package, in line with his/her experience and proficiency. Training and support will be offered.
Salary: Rs 21,000 - 30,000
